The «miual triangular secondary schools football tournament between Napier, Pa'lmerston North and New Plymouth High Schools for the Poison shield, which is now held by the Palmerston school, commences on the Recreation Sports Ground to-morrow, when New Plymouth play Palmers ton. The local boys will be represented by the following:— Full-back: Crone. 7st 10ll>. Three-quarters: Grant 8.11; Box 11.0, Bruce 8.10. Five-eighths: Bayly 0.0.Hftlf: Adlam 8.1. Wing-forwards: N. On Saturday Napier meet Palmerston; and on Monday New Plymouth play Napier. Thursday's match will start at 2.30' p.m., and Mr. P. Skoglund will reffcree. A charge of sixpence will be made at the' gate, the net proceeds of which will be devoted to the Dfeacon Fundi Mr. Bert Petty has Ibeen appointed to' referee in the junior play-off at Stratford on Thursday between Clifton and Hawera.
