Republican applause greeted the announcement of the Presidential veto of the Wool Bill when read in the House of Representatives. Air. Underwood, the Democratic leader, announced that he would call the Bill up immediately and endeavor to pass it over the veto. Mr. Underwood is confident that he will obtain the necessary majority. He must get Republican support before the necessary two-thirds majority is obtained. The Republicans are supporting President Taft, It is believed that the Insurgents will not try to upset the veto.-
