SAUNDERS" PICTURES. The Spithead programme was screened for the second and last time to a good house last evening. At the matinee today and again to-night a complete change of films will be shown. The new selection is again heavily charged with the latest top-liners, amongst which arc "Scientific Billiards" (by Tom Rcecc), "Historic London, Part 2," "The Alps Region, Sweden." Pour star dramas, "The Test of Friendship" (Edison), "The Road Agents" (S. and A), "The Three Sisters" (A.8.), and "The Girl of the West" (Essanay). A star comedy of more than ordinary merit is "The Merry Wives of Windsor." Other comic pictures are "Hank and Tank make a Mash," "The New Cook," and "Bobby as an Apache." The children's threepenny matinee will be held to-day as usual, commencing at 2.30 p.m. ' ,

ROYAL PICTURES AND OROHESTRA. There was a good Attendance at the Theatre Royal last night, when a complete change of programme was submitted. To-day at the Sweets maitnee another complete change will be screened, and is said to contain an exceptionally interesting selection of pictures. A few of those to be presented are the brilliantly colored star productions, entitled "The Merchant of Venice," a well-known Shakespearian drama. "The Magic Fife," another gorgeously colored and splendidly acted fairy play. "The Kromats," the most celebrated acrobats in Europe. The programme also contains a number of star comedies, a few qf which are "Two Merry Tramps," "Well Swept Chimney," "Rival Tecs.-" and "Modern Smuggling." Other pictures are "The Burden Bearer," a tinted drama by Pathe Freres, "Neighboring Kingdoms," and "A Silent Wooing." The prices of admission have been reduced, viz.. Od to all parts downstars, and Is to the drew circle.
