Wellington, Friday, The victim of the recent hooligan outrage at Peione, Area Sergeant-Major Millett, who was removed to n private boapita! suffering from incipient blood- . poisoning, resulting, it is alleged, from a blow on the breast with some sharp instrument, is progressing less favorably than was expected. Certain symptoms have developed since his admission to the private hospital which have necessitated a surgical operation. This was performed upon the .patient yesterday, and at the latest reports he was not getting on so well as was at first hoped .
