ANNUAL CONFERENCE. By Telegraph—Preea Association. Wellington, Yesterday. The Agricultural Conference to-day considered tlio report of the specihl committee on the Deeds of Sale Control Bill. The committee reported in favor of the Bill, but considered the measure might be simplified by striking out clause 0 and substituting a claiise to enable a buyer to take a sample, seal it in the presence of the seller, and forward it to the biologist for analysis. The report was adopted. The committee appointed to deal with the question of establishing a Royal Society reported that it is essential for better government of A. and P. Associations that some executive body should be constituted, and recommended the conference to take steps to form a duly registered national society, to be governed by a council elected by A. & P. Associations throughout the Dominion. The objects of the association shall be to watch over and protect the rights and privileges of the associated societies, to take action in relation to any subject or any legislation afl'ecting their interests, to bring about uniformity of rules, compile a satisfactory list of judges, negotiate show dates in a friendly manner, develop the resources and advance the material interests of the country, encourage the most advanced systems of agriculture, to foster every branch of mechanical and household arts calculated to increase the comforts of human life. The report was adopted.
