The Commonwealth Government is considering proposals to have only day sittings of Parliament. AUSTRALIAN CADETS. Received 15, 11.45 p.m. Melbourne, Last Night. Three thousand two hundred naval cadets have been enrolleu. In view o! the expense of halls, all the cadets will be drilled only in fine weather. COMPULSORY MILITARY TRAINING. Received 10, 12.55 p.m. Sydney, August 15. The Northern Colliery Employees' Association rejected Stanford Merthvr's motion against compulsory military training, by 21 to 7.
