Tonight (Tuesday) the Roya] Pictures aire to show at Waitara in conjunction with the Biograph Pictures. These two popular shows are assured of packed houses seeing they are screening no less than three complete changes of programme on the different nights. This probably stands as a record for any town in New Zeailand as far as the picture business is concerned. Mr. Crust announces the Royal Pictures are to open again at the Theatre Royal on Friday next with a complete change of programme, and again on Saturday at the sweets matinee another complete change will be screened.

SAUNDERS' PICTURES. Tho current programme was shown again last night to a good house. The most popular items were, "Scenes on the Blue Nile," "The Golden Shell," and "How Winter Decorates Nature." The dramatic pictures consisted of interesting stories, profusely illustrated and realistically portrayed. The best amongst this section were "From Tyranny to Freedom" (a tale of revolutionary Russia), "The Test" and "The Stronger Tie." The comics were, as usual, all highly amusing, and elicited many outbursts of hearty applause. The series will be shown again to-niglit for the last time. A complete change will be screened to-morrow. The Biograph Pictures will also show in Waitara tonight, to-morrow and Thursday nighte, in conjunction with the Royal Pictures.
