CONCILIATION COMMISSION
BAKERS' DISPUTE. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The Conciliation Commission, Mr. P. Hally, president, has concluded the hearing of the Country and Wellington Operative Bakers' dispute, the final sitting being held at Masterton last Friday. Agreement on all minor points has been arrived at, but matters of wages, hours and preference have not been settled. A suggestion has been made that a final conference of representatives of all parties be held at Palmerston North, the object being to come to an agreement without going to court. Arrangements are being made accordingly. Should the case go to court it will be taken at the first sitting in Wellington on September 4.
