VESSEL SINKS IMMEDIATELY. ONLY A FEW SAVED. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Marseilles, August 10. The Emer, which was in collision with the English steamer Silvcrton, off Tarifa, sank immediately. There wore no English or American passengers aboard, most of those drowned being Moroccan laborers. The Eilverton lowered three boats, but was only able to save twelve of the Emer's crew and the passengers who were on deck.
