Bishop Wilson, late of the Melancsian Diocese, lias made official representations to Mr. Hughes as to the unsatisfactory conditions arising out of the dual control of the New Hebrides, and has requested the Commonwealth to approach the Imperial authorities with a view to the appointment of native protectors. It has been arranged that the bishop should put his case in writing.
