STEAMERS COLLIDE.
NINETY-THREE DROWNED. By Cubic—Proas Association—Copyright. Gibraltar, August 9. During a fog the British steamer Silverton collided with the French steamer Emer, near Tarifa, Spain. The latter foundered, and 24 of the crew and 09 passengers were drowned.
