Westralia and Tasmania have offered to accept 3% per cent, interest on the value of properties transferred to the Commonwealth. Victoria is asking 3£ per cent.

On Sunday two men were found unconscious in Druitt street. One subsequently died, and the other recovorcd. He stated that they had been drinking liquor sold them in the street on Sunday morning as rum. SYDNEY FISH SUPPLY. Sydney, August 8. The first shipment of privately trawled fish was placed on the market yasterday, and the result was a marked decline in values.
