AN OVERCROWDED SCHOOL. By Telegraph—Press Association. Palmerston North, Last Night, The Campbell Street School, the chief public school here, is declining to accept further pupilß, owing to the failure of the Wanganui Education Board to provide accommodation asked for. The school is greatly overcrowded.
WELLINGTON EXHIBITION PROFIT. i Wellington, Last Night. The finnnciiil results of the recent Coronation Exhibition show a surplus to date of £1290, and when all the timber and other fittings are disposed of it is expected the total profit will amount to over £ISOO. The Academy of Fine Arts has asked for assistance, and this request, with others, has been held over until the final washing-up of ascpunts.
NEW ZEALAND WIRELESS. Wellington, Last Night. Ihe Wellington wireless station expected to he in wireless communication with the Arawa to-night and to-morrow.
FIRE IX TERRITORIAL CAMP. (Special to News.) Palmerston N., Last Night. The New Plymouth High School officers' tent was burnt out to-day. All the officers' gear was lost.
