SENTENCES OF ACCUSED. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Calcutta, August 7. In the trial of 42 Bengalese arrested in August last year and charged with conspiracy at Dacca last June, when the assessors stated that the police evidence was worthless and unreliable, and found the prisoners not guilty, the judge disagreed with the assessors, and h's sentenced three conspirators to transportation for life, five were acquitted. and the remainder sentenced to various tenv.-i of imprisonment.
