ENTERTAINMENTS.

THE CORONATION PICTURES. Yesterday Whiteley Hall was opened all afternoon, Mr. Saunders showing his superb picture of the Coronation, together with the highly interesting picture, "Trooping the Colors," and the natural history film, "Carrot Caterpillars." There were good attendances, particularly after three, when the school children began to pour in. The pictures were followed with keen relish by youngsters and adults alike, and are an educational lesson that no child should be allowed to miss. It would be a good thing if arrangements could be made whereby the children of the outlying schools could also be afforded the opportunity of viewing the CQronation and some of the other pictureg. It irouli be a great treat, and of infinitely more value than an ordinary picnic or "bun fight." In the evening the Coronation picture was again shown to a house that was well filled, the gallery being crowded. The great historical drama, "The Lyons Mail," was, after the Coronation picture, the "piece de resistance," and was voted on all sides one of the most interesting subjects that has ever bee* placed before local patrons of cinematography. There were the usual comics, scenics and industrials, all of which were appreciated. The programme will be repeated tonight.
