By Telegraph —Press Association. Ashiburton, Last Night. At the annual meeting of the Ashiburton Trotting Club to-night, the following resolutions weTe unanimously carried: That this meeting of the members of the Ashburton Trotting Club, enters a strong protest against the action of the Racing Commission in depriving it of two days' racing in the year, seeing that Ashburton is one of the principal. centres for the breeding of trotting horses in the Dominion; and that it consideirs that the Racing Commission, in depriving it nf two days instead of one as intended, has committed a gross injustice against breeders and owners of trotting horses in this 1 locality.
A Sydney cable states that the racehorse Formeden foils been sold to Mr. Shiel, of Camden, for stud purposes. The price is not available.
