At the wool sales 86,000 bales were bold for the Home market, 46,000 for ;he Continent. 2500 for America, and H,OOO were held over. Compared with :,he May series, merinos closed fully at iar, except short carbonising sorts, which were slightly easier. Fine greasy jrossbreds advanced a per cent. Lower *rade sorts were very firm at par. Bcoureds declined about 10 per cent, and lambs went slightly in ;he sellers' favor. Merinos were about 5 per cent, dearer. The sales included the following clips: Denall lid; Langlidge, top »y 2 d. average Grasmere, 22V4d and 21'/,. * Wheat.—A cargo was sold at 33s 6d.
