DAILY MAIL PRIZE. By Cable —Press Association—Copyright. London, July 23. Seventeen airmen completed the first stage, Brooklands to Ilendon, of the Daily Mail flight. Vedrinea made the quickest time, and Beaumont was second. Lieutenant Porte, a naval aviator, fell thirty feet. TTis machine was wrecked, but Porte was unhurt. The aviator Kemp fell fifty feet, and a wing of his machine was crumpled. Kemp had a miraculous escape. The route as planned by the Aero Club is as follows: Miles.
