Vedrinea made the quickest time, and Beaumont was second. Lieutenant Porte, a naval aviator, fell thirty feet. TTis machine was wrecked, but Porte was unhurt. The aviator Kemp fell fifty feet, and a wing of his machine was crumpled. Kemp had a miraculous escape. The route as planned by the Aero Club is as follows: Miles.
