At the farewell luncheon to overseas Parliamentarians at Hampton Court a message from the King was read, hoping that the visitors had enjoyed their stay, and wishing them a safe return. Mr. Asquith, in proposing the toast of the guests, said' he thought the delegates would carry away an ahiding and favorable impression of the vast resources of the Motherland, and would rest assured that the heart of the Empire was not moribund. Mr. Balfour, in supporting the toast, said he felt they could look to the Dominions for help to bear the burden of Empire.
