SPANISH INDISCRETIONS. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Paris, July 18. The Franco-Spanish friction at Alcazar has culminated in the Spanish Guards arresting M. Boisset, the French Consul and marching him through the streets, with muskets levelled, to the Spanish commander, who released him without apology. The press is incensed, and declares that hitherto France has treated Spanish excesses as puerilities, and reprimand is now necessary. The Cabinet has demanded an explanation.
