THE IRISH 'ENVOYS. By Telegraph—Press Association. Hawera, Yesterday. Messrs. Donovan and Redmond, the Irish envoys, addressed a meeting at Manaia last evening. A resolution of sympathy with Home Rule was passed. About £IOO was contributed in the Manaia district. It is expected that the total for the Dominion will be well over £IO,OOO. electorallToT'n t daries. Wellington, Yesterday. The representation commission of both Islands this morning commenced their work of the readjustment of electoral boundaries. They will first sit jointly to ascertain the quota and then separately to adjust the boundaries of each island. The work is expected to extend over about three weeks. COW-TESTING ASSOCIATION. Eketahuna, Yesterday. A meeting of the committee appointed to go into the matter yesterday decided to form a cow-testing association. Over floo cows have now been promised, and the district has been incompletely canvassed. The association will be in going order for next season. "THERE IS THE DOOR!" Wellington, Yesterday. There was much bickering at the sitting of the Conciliation Council in the furniture dispute to-dav, and no progress was made. Mr. 'Moriarty, union secretary, objecting to give reasons for desiring a new award, had an alternation with Mr. Hally, chairman, who told him to speak the truth while there Mr. Moriarty said: "I don't want any of that from you," and Mr. Hally replied'■if you don't, there is the door."
