The annual meeting of the shareholders of the Fanners' Co-operative Association adopted the. report recommending a dividend of 8 per cent., a bonus of 25 per cent, on commissions,, a bonus of 2 per cent, on goods purchased, a bonus of fi per cent, on salaries earned, and £IOOO carried forward. In moving the adoption of the report, Mr. R. D. D. McLean (chairman of directors), said the prospects of the wool market were very bright. A Bradford man had informed him that the market would be good for the next ten years. Mr. McLean also referred to the prospects of introducing New Zealand frozen meat into Continental markets. The meeting Resolved to increase the share capital to £200,000 by the creation of an additional 20,000 shares of £5 each.
