It is stated that country members of the Labor Parly who object to Mr. Neilsen's repeal of the Conversion Act have declared a truce until Mr. McCowen's return. In the Assembly the Industrial Arbitration Bill is being considered in committee. There was a long discussion on the clause providing for the repeal of previous Acts, and an all-night sitting resulted.
THE ARBITRATION BILL, Received 13, 0.30 p.m. Sydney, July 13. In the Assembly the clause in the Arbitration Bill repealing the previous Acts passed the committee stage.
