The King and Queen have embarked for Carnarvon, where the. Prince of Wales will be invested to-morrow. FAREWELL MESSAGE TO IRELAND. CROWDS IN CARNARVON. Received 1,3) 11 p.m. London, July 13. The King has given a thousand pounds to the poor of Dublin. In a farewell message he thanked the people of Ireland for their spontaneous and hearty loyalty. The welcome .they had given had made a permanent impression on himself and the Queen. As the boat left, great crowds on the wharf sang, "Come back to Erin!" Their Majesties arrived at Holyhead in the evening. Carnarvon was-crowded. Many were unable to secure lodgings, and spent the night in the city halls singing old Welsh hymns.
