Thirteen were killed and 42 injured in the wreck of the Colonial Express on the New York, Newhaven and Harford railway, at Bridgeport, Connecticut. Twenty of the injured will probably die, At Dallas, Oregon, five were killed through an express going over an embankment on the Oregon Trunk line.
