In the House of Commons Mr. LloydGeorge outlined the modification of the Insurance Bill to include agriculturalists, domestics, nurses, and clerks whose employers pay wages during Mines*. Mr. Llpyd-Ceorge proposes that employers and wage earners pay a penny apiece less, thereby eliminating the temporary sick benefit, leaving the permanent sickness, sanatorium and maternity benefits untouched.
