BITTER PIT. Received 12, 1.5 a.m. Melbourne, July 11
The Minister of Customs has received the report of the committee appointed to investigate the cause of bitter pit in apples. He stated tluit the disease was found In apple trees which never had been sprayed. The report stated that he considered the theory that spraying was the cause, had been disproved. Further investigations aie pending.
