SUCCESSFUL NEGOTIATIONS. SETTLEMENT IN MANCHESTER. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 11, 12.45 a.m. London, July 10. Mr. G. R. Askwith negotiated through the night, and it is understood arrived at a settlement with all sections at Manchester.
The Manchester dockers enthusiastically accepted the terms their leaders negotiated with the Manchester Ship Canal Company, but decided it was cowardly to return while the carters' dispute wae unsettled.
