SERIOUS EARTHQUAKE. Buda Pesth, July 9. As the result of an earthquake at KeeskemeJi the railway station and ■barracks collapsed, and "the town hall, law courts, and theatre were seriously damaged.
SIR ELDON GORST. London, July A. The Khedive spent an hoar at Sir Eldon Gorst's bedside in his father's home at Castle Cove, Wiltshire. The authorities were unaware of his visit. He travelled incognito to see Sir Eldon Gorst, and then went to Paris. Sir Eldon Gorst k sinking.
