MANIFESTO TO MINERS

APPEAL FROM WALES. By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright, Received 10, 9.45 p.m. London, July 10.

The South Wales Miners' Federation, in a manifesto to British miners, are pleading for a national strike in favor of a minimum wage. All collieries, states the South Wales Miners' Federation, are compelled to pay 4s a month in support of the Cambrian strikers while the coal owners are simply paying l'Vad a ton, giving the Cambrian combing £26,000 sterling a month. The employers therefore could hold out for years without feeling the pinch.
