First ties: Wellington beat Middlemarch, Kilfilem beat Valorous, Headlight beat Captain Starlight, The Leader a bye. Second ties: Kilfilem beat Wellington, Headlight beat The Leader. Deciding course: J. Brosnan's Kilfllem, bj Tolstoi—Gertie, beat Wiremu Xeeri's Headlight, and won the stake.

Coronation Stake.—Raffles beat Captain Starlight, Rufus Dewes beat Diffident. Deciding course: J. Higgin's Raffles beat Battieaxe, Ganger's Gift beat Wiremu. Nceri's Rufus Dawea, by Prison Gate beat Pretty Polly, and won the stake.
