RACECOURSE BUILDINGS BURNED. By Telegraph—Press Association. Masterton,: Last Night. By fire at an early hour this morning the whole of the buildings on the Masterton racecourse, including ttie grandstand and booth, stewards* (pom, totaliso/tor house, ladies' cloak mora, press room, and the office, ■weighing and jockeys' room, and loose boxes, were destroyed. The new stand and the judge's box were the only buildings left. Xhe cause of the fire is a mystery, but it is thought to be the work of an incendiary, as there is evidence of an attempt to burn the remaining stand. The buildings were covered by a policy of £I2OO in tin North British" Office.
