Mr. Fisher and Sir Joseph Ward had a splendid reception at the various Glasgow functions.
Sir Joseph Ward, at a luncheon in the City Chambers, said that New Zeakmiens would he pleased to receive the Lord Provost's message of goodwill. Lord Kitchener, after receiving the freedom of the city, remarked tha,t lie was particularly pleased to be associated with Mr. Fisher and Sir Joseph Ward, because he had submitted to their Governments the schemes for military reorganisation which were now being parried out with the thoroughness that so notablv marked all the undertakings of Australia and New Zealand.
