The dock workers who handle coastal cargo have resumed work. The Salford millers will resume work on Monday, and some mills have restarted. The thousand dockers' wives, with babes and other children hanging to their skirts, formed a procession through Manchester. A collection in aid of the Salford fund was taken up.

LOSSES AT IJULL. Received 9, 5.5 p.m. London, July 8. The strike losses at Hull are estimated at £250,000.
