Baden-Powell, says he is greatly pleased to see so many Boy Scouts in all parts of the United Kingdom, and also in the oversea Dominions. He welcomes the opportunity of ?'• wing his appreciation of the great vo' • •'■nry work being done by men and women of all classes in striving to promote the progress of sound training and education among the Empire's rising generation. He congratulated General Baden-Powell on the remarkable results the Boy Scout achieved, and.said he felt sure 'the boys of the Empire would show gratitude for the encouragement so generously given by the various organisations at Home and abroad, and endeavor to become God-fearing and useful citizens.
