HIGH PRICED MERINOS. By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright Received 4, 12.10 a.m. Sydney, July 3. At the sheep sales there was better competition than last year, owing to the presence of South Africans after good merinos. Sales were mostly of Tasmanian sheep, and included a client for a merino ram at 300 guineas. "Tradesman," the grand champion housed ram sold for 302 guineas, and a year old son of "Baronet" (fifth reserve champion to "Tradesman") for 410 guineas. "Baronet V." went for 150 guineas.
