Mrs. Helena Titus, complexion specialist, trading in London and Australia as "The Rubenstein Company," sued Mrs. Winterfieldt, a wealthy New Yorker, for inducing an assistant to break a contract. The' evidence showed that Mrs. Titus paid an assistant 12s 6d a week, and charged Titus £l5O sterling a month. During Mrs. Titus's visit to Australia and New Zealand the assistant accepted £250 a year from Mrs. Winterfieldt. ,-
An accountant proved the sale of the Rubenstein preparations at the London branch to be £12,823 sterling for 18 months. Treatment fees aggregated £10,905 for the same period. . A verdict was given for the defendant.
