WESTI'ORT SESSIONS. By Telegraph—Press Association. West port, June 27. In the Supreme Court K. C. Elliot, late local manager oi the Westport and Stockton Coal Company, was sentenced to six months' imprisonment for the theft of f 109 of the company's monies. XAPJER SESSIONS. Napier, Yesterday. Before the* Supreme Court, John Young Hannay, who was charged with a/wault and discharging a firearm with intent to do grievous bodily harm, was acquitted. In the case against Michael Tuohv of alleged carnal knowledge, the Crown 'Prosecutor stated that, the principal witness' had recently married prisoner, and tis she declined to give evidence against her husband, the jury wero directed to return a verdict ot not guilty. ALLEGED CYCLE THIEF. Napier, La;-t Night. The Supreme Court was occupied the greater part of yesterday afternoon and till lato in the evening with a case in which a man named Frank Oakley Skelton was charged with the theft of two bicycles. The jury wero unable to agree, and a new trial will tike place on a day tj be fixed to-mono.".
