TONGAPORUTU. On Coronation Day the school children assembled at the Tongaporutu Hall, and at H a.m. the chairman of the School Committee distributed the medals, after which the children were treated to refreshments. The only ounting living was at the pilot station, the .school flag being unfortunately locked up in the" school cupboard. The Commissioner of Crown Lands (.Mr. Armstrong) paid a visit here last Saturday and met the settlers.
