The tender of Mr. J. C. Rowe, of Lepperton, has been accepted for the erection of a creamery and cottage at Lincoln road. The unreserved sale which Mr. Newton King is holding at Rahotu on Tuesday, July 4th, on account of Mr. Stringer, who has sold his farm, should offer a good opportunity to farmers to secure some (irst-class stock to supplement their herds. The cattle show a good strain of Jersey, and are both heavy milkers and good testers, and have yielded excellent returns of butterfat for the past season.
