INFLUENCE OF NEWSPAPERS. By Cable—Press Asstciation—Copyright. New \ork, June 25. The American Academy of Medicine, at a congress at Los Angelos, debated the question of the influence of newspapers spreading suicide ns the result of publishing reports of such occurrences, and appealed to all newspapers to refrain from giving publicity to suicides in consequence of the effect of such reports on weak minds.
