Congressman Rabath, Illinois, introduced in the House a resolution demanding that the State Department enquire why only two dozen American peeresses had been granted permission to attend me Coronation, lie also asked information as to the amount of money the United Slates exported with the' heiresses, and also the number of such marriages that proved happy. It is unlikely the resolution will be treated seriously. Mr. liabatli desired the specified information in order to allow the country to judge to what extent it was benefited by such trade.
