RECORD RAINFALL. MANY FARMERS RUINED. By Cable—lV«m Aatoeiation—Copyright Melbourne, June 22. A hwivy gale raged in the city yeftterdhy morning, accompanied by sleet and occasional snow. The rain since January is the highest on record for six mouths. Thousands of acres are flooded in the Nathalia district, and many crop* are destroyed. Round Kotupua the residents have been compelled to leave their houses, and many farmers are ruined. Boats have been sent to Shepperbon to assist settlers. The waters are still spreading, and the floods at Wa/rhurton Mc the most disastrous on record.
