PALMERSTON WINTER SHOW.
SECOND DAY. By Telegrapk.—Press Association. Palmcr.ston North, Yesterday. There was a very large attendance at the Winter Show to-day, the weather being pleasantly fine in the afternoon after the heavy rain in the early morning. The poultry judging was held in the morning, the entries numbering 300. The judge (Mr. F. Brown, poultry instructor) spoke highly of the quality of the entries. J. Rutherford (Bell Block) won the dairy prodti"(> judging competition, Irving (Grevtown) being second. The cuief attractions of the day were the inter-collcge football matches, which are the Eton-Harrow matches of this Island.
