LOSS OF THE YONGALA.

THE MARINE BOARD'S REPORT. By Cable—Press Association —Copyright. Brisbane, June 21. The Marine Board has delivered its finding on the loss ot the Yongala. After lengthily reviewing the evidence, the finding declares that while it is gratifying and reassuring fliiit, the vessel's stability and seaworthiness remain unassailable, and the competency and carefulness of Captain Knight unimpeachable, the Board simply finds that, after becoming lost to view by the liglit.kceper at Dent Island, the fate of the Yongala passes beyond human ken into realms of conjecture to mysteries of the sea.

The Board commends the company for their prompt action in endeavoring by every means at their disposal 'to obtain information regarding the whereabouts of the Yongala, From the evidence of some experienced shipmasters, tho Board is confirmed in the opinion that the risk of navigating the Queensland coast is considerably enhanced during the hurricane months, and thinks it will be geerallv conceded that the only element of safety will he found in securing the best anchorage available, and that several harbors of refuge should exist along this part of the coast.
