EARLDOMS, By Cable—Press Association—Cop right. London, Jun 20. Earldoms of the United Ki gdom have been conferred on Lord Lo eburn (Lord High Chancellor), Lord Ro eberv (whose title will be Earl of Midlothian), Field-Marshal Lord Methuen, and General Sir William Nicholson. VISCOUNTS.

The new viscounts of the United Kingdom are Lord Knollys (Private Secretary to the King) l , Alexander Murray, Master of Elibank (Chief Government Whip), Mr. A. Akers-Douglas (Unionist M.P.).

BARONS. The following have been created barons: Sir A. Acland Hood, M.P., T. G. Ashton, M.P., and A. C. Corbett, M.P. PRIVY COUNCILLOR S. New Privy Councillors are: Sir Rufus Isaacs, M.P., Charles Fenwick, M.P., A. Bonar Law, M.P., and Sir Frederick Pollock. OTHER DECORATIONS. Imperial Service Oorder: William Davidson (Secretary of the Public Works Department, Victoria), E. Dobbie (So-licitor-General, Tasmania), J. Jones (Secretary of the Public Works Department, South Australia), Captain John Maekay (harbormaster, Queensland), Clayton Mason (Collector of Customs, Western Australia). K.C.8.: Admiral King Hall. C.8.: Major-General Kirkpatrick, Inspector of the Commonwealth Forces.
