NGAMOTU CLUB. A reverse handicap was played on Saturday in splendid weather, 22 players competing for a prize presented by the captain, Mr. C. A. Benbow. The competition was won by E. S. Bayley with the good net score of 78. The following are the best scores:—
On Coronation Day a bogey handicap will be played in the morning and a sealed medal handicap in the afternoon. On Saturday next a mixed foursomes will be played, and members are reminded that entries must be in the hands of the match committee by 4 p.m. on Wednesday. A ladies' team from the Ngamotu Club had arranged to visit Hawera today, but on account of the unsettled weather yesterday the match was postponed.
