INGLEWOOD NOTES

(Frwm Our Own Correspondent.) The monthly meeting of directors of the Moa Dairy Company was held on Friday. Present: Messrs. Jones (chairman), Barford, Britain, Egarr, McMahon, Stachurski, and Williams. A letter was received from the Dominion, Wellington, stating that they were publishing a special issue on the dairy industry in Taranaki, and quoted prices for spase for an illustrated advertisement. The Maketawa factory advised having raised the price of butter to retailers to Is Id. The Moa Co. concurred. The report was received from the valuers of the Waitui factory and plant. Correspondence with Messrs. Grey re May butter was received in committee.

The ceremony of turning the first sod for the new band rotunda will, all being well, be performed on Coronation Day. The rotunda is a step in the right direction towards the improvement of the town.

Mrs. Mcßeth has again commenced her Saturday afternoon dancing class for children in the Parish Hall.
