At a meeting to-night of the South Christchurch branch of the New Zealand Labor Party the following resolution was carried: "That owing to the large profits accruing in the Bank of New Zealand, this branch of the New Zealand Labor Party urges the Government to take its full percentage on the ftir vested capital, and that all monies received, less five per cent., be .placed to the credit of the National Provident Fund; also that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the Minister of Finance."
