CAR AND TRAP COLLIDE

HORSE KILLED; MEN HURT. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Timaru, Last Night. An unlighted trap, said to be going fast, met a motor-car on the road near the Levels station to-night. The can thrust the hor.so. into the fence and killed it, the cart was smashed, and the ear was very much damaged. C. Gosling, in the cart, escaped apparently unhurt. The two min in the car were E. Rpiil and J. Shiillcwms, of Guinness and Lc Cren's. The former, who was driving, had his arm broken and he was seriously injured internally. The latter sustained some cuts and was badly shaken.
